They find it difficult to manage their everyday lifestyle.

Homework Club

The homework club is a club launched in March 2007 has been tailored for children of African origin living and attending schools in Tameside. This project stems from the fact that many parents worried about their children’s performances at school, they wanted them to acquire the necessary life skills during this foundation time which often determines the success for their future. Children are provided with learning materials that will enable the children to practice the lessons taught in school. This project has been successful in a sense that the children attending this has a real improvement in their school work and has promoted excellence in education. They meet every Saturday in the afternoons.
