MONEY ADVICE
TARA money advice project is driven by the desire to help people whose lives are being overturned by debt and money problems. Most of the services are African refugees and asylum seekers who are low on income and have got language barriers to overcome, live in isolation. They find it difficult to manage their everyday lifestyle.

TARA is a user-led group which was set up to provide free information, advice and support to African refugees that have been placed in Tameside.The objective of our organisation encorparates promoting African culture, to facilitate development within the African community in Tameside and providing a place for discussion, sharing and signposting..

- Provision of orientation. 
- Reducing language barrier. 
- Support in personal development trough employment and education.

Working together with diverse groups and local community to build understanding, diversity through food, customs and cultural exchange.
